All our graduate programs are now classified as STEM, eligible for extended Optional Practical Training (OPT)

As of August 2020, all of the department’s graduate programs, including Ph.D. and M.S., are designated as STEM programs ((CIP Code 45.0603: Econometrics and Quantitative Economics), making graduates eligible for up to 24-month STEM extension of F-1-eligible Optional Practical Training (OPT).  See https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/stem-opt-hub/stem-opt-extension-overview for details.
