Our Ph.D. program is thriving, with up to 80 students, and our undergraduate program boasts over 600 majors. Additionally, we provide foundational courses in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Business Statistics for all Kelley students. Last year alone, our department generated $6.6 million in profits for the College of Arts and Sciences, making us the third-largest profit contributor. We are also expanding our offerings with a joint Econ-Data Science M.S. program in collaboration with the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering.
We have a large and supportive group of alumni excelling in all spheres of life, including industry, government, and academia. Their contributions significantly enhance the reputation and visibility of economics at Indiana University. We are immensely proud of our alumni community and deeply appreciate the tremendous support they continue to provide.
We are launching a LinkedIn group for our department, aiming to forge even stronger connections between our students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Please join the group on LinkedIn here. Post, comment, and follow the many events in the life of our department.
I look forward to our continued success together.
Best regards,
