Dear All,
I hope this email finds you well. After three years of waiting, finally I am happy to announce that we will have the AiE conference in honor of Joon on September 29-30 this year. Our plan is to do the conference in the same format we initially planned in 2020. This means we will have the same panel discussions on Past, Present and Future of Econometrics, regular paper sessions, and poster sessions.
We will also have the additional events we previously planned, which include the pre- and post-conference dinners and social activities, a Korean cooking class and hiking in Brown County State Park, on the day after the conference. All the sessions and events will be in-person.
You may still find the details of the originally planned conference on the conference webpage
https://economics.indiana.edu/news-events/advances-in-econometrics-conference/index.html
For us to move forward, we first need to re-confirm your participation, so please let me know of your attendance by February 20. I very much hope you can all come and enjoy the fellowship of our community of econometricians.
We will update the webpage once we finish re-confirming your attendance and continue to update it as more details of the new 2023 conference become available.
Finally, I am happy to report that the publisher has almost finished processing two AiE volumes in honor of Joon (45A and 45B), and we expect them to be published this spring.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Warmest wishes,
Yoosoon
